Grilled Mussels with Garlic Butter and Parmesan
A deliciously easy appetizer using our juicy Greenshell™ Mussels served in the half shell, topped with garlic herb butter and bubbling parmesan, ready in just 15 minutes!

Ingredients
- 400-500g/14-17oz Sanford Fishmonger Greenshell™ Mussels Half Shell, thawed
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- salt and pepper
- ½ cup parmesan, finely grated
Method
- Pre-heat the grill to 200°C/492°F. Line a baking tray with baking paper, then arrange the mussels in a single layer.
- In a small bowl combine the melted butter, chopped parsley and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the garlic butter onto each mussel then sprinkle with parmesan, covering evenly.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
Place the mussels onto a large serving plate and serve immediately.
